Wendy's son Charlie just graduated from Vanderbilt University and is backpacking through Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand as a graduation trip.  He has already lived in more countries than his mom, including a summer internship in Tel Aviv and a semester abroad in Sydney, when he traveled to every state in Australia (at left, he's with a quokka on Rottnest Island).  His travels in 66 countries, starting with Italy at age three, have left him with plenty of advice for parents looking for a trip to thrill their kids and teens.
