Thank you to everyone who voted for WendyPerrin.com in the Frequent Business Traveler GlobeRunner Awards, which were announced today. We just heard that we won the Best General Travel Blog category, and we’re so thrilled.

As you know, I started this website a little over a year ago with one goal in mind: to put an end to mediocre trips. I want every reader to find what they need to plan extraordinary travel experiences, from solutions to common travel challenges to Insiders’ Guides on destinations both familiar and exotic. On top of all that, this is where I publish my one and only WOW List of Trusted Travel Experts, whom I’ve vetted throughout my 25 years in travel journalism and feel comfortable recommending as the best travel specialists to make vacation magic happen. More than 162,000 votes were cast by the readers of Frequent Business Traveler magazine, a publication written by and for savvy international travelers, and I’m honored to know that they’re finding my travel insights so useful.
